Do you and your company promote intercultural openness for international specialists? Then apply for the i-work Business Award, which makes good integration examples visible and encourages imitation. Together with the Friedrich Schiller University, JenaWirtschaft organizes the annual competition under the patronage of Minister Heike Werner (Thuringian Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family).
The competition is aimed at companies in Jena and the region that use innovative concepts and measures to promote intercultural openness for international specialists in a special and exemplary way.
The selection procedure consists of two stages. In the first selection round, the best four applications are selected on the basis of the completed questionnaires. The competition winners will be determined in the second stage through personal interviews and on-site visits. The jury is made up of international employees and representatives of the State of Thuringia, the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the City of Jena.
The closing date for applications for the 2019 competition is 8 September 2019. The awards ceremony will take place on 5 December 2019 in the Villa Rosenthal.
