With our many years of experience, we support companies in Jena in securing the skilled workers of tomorrow. Our goal: to make training fit for the future, strengthen trainers, promote career guidance and expand cooperation – for a strong economy in Jena.

- Avoid training drop-outs: JenaWirtschaft supports companies in establishing stable training structures – as the basis for successful training relationships. Building on this, we help to recognise typical dropout risks at an early stage and take targeted countermeasures. If necessary, we arrange suitable support programmes and network with partners who can provide advice and support in challenging situations.
- Shaping modern training: JenaWirtschaft supports companies in developing their trainers into modern learning facilitators. We provide impetus for new didactic approaches, the use of digital tools and show ways in which individual learning processes can be specifically promoted – for state-of-the-art training.

- Strategy and networking: JenaWirtschaft bundles regional offers with a focus on training and works closely with companies, educational institutions, chambers, agencies and associations to strengthen cooperation and promote skilled workers in a targeted manner.
- Jena Alliance for Skilled Workers / “Training & Career Orientation” steering group: companies, educational institutions and the local authority work together to recruit young talent, internships and career entry. New company participations are welcome and benefit from exchange, networking and visibility.
- Graduate and career fairs: JenaWirtschaft presents Jena as a business location at regional trade fairs, shows prospects, quality of life and opportunities on site and links this directly to current training opportunities in the job portal at work-in-jena.de.
- Work in Jena – training portal: The portal work-in-jena.de/ausbildung bundles information on training occupations, internships and counselling services in Jena and enables companies to make training places directly visible in the job portal.
- Workshops on training topics: JenaWirtschaft is planning practical workshops for companies that address current training topics and promote dialogue between companies. You will find more information in the event calendar.
